Meet Jyhad Aamri
Jyhad Aamri is currently the Sr. Lead for Marketing Technologies and Analytics with Unilever CA, a multinational consumer goods company that sells beauty and personal care products, foods and refreshments, and a range of home care goods.
He brings over 20 years of experience as a leader with extensive technical and digital skills and a humble management style that helps people thrive in their job while delivering business value.
Jyhad’s responsibilities include:
- leading IT and digital transformation projects while building great teams and developing new talent,
- identifying risks associated with the business transformation and recommending risk mitigation strategies,
- streamlining ecosystems for future-proof technology and systems, and
- finding opportunities with measurable KPIs that deliver profitable business results.
Influenced by his grandfather’s business acumen, Jyhad began building his skill set in high school, where he studied business administration and management. He then learned computer programming while attending Herzing College and fell in love with technology. He subsequently built multiple applications, worked on various IT projects, managed different teams, and accompanied enterprises on their digital transformation journeys.
Along the way, he graduated from TBS Business School with a master’s degree in Marketing, Management, and Communication, from which he enhanced his intuitive ability to market products and services while fully grasping the underlying technical challenges.
Jyhad has successfully applied his trifecta marketing, management, and technology skills at several Fortune 500 entities to help organizations keep up with emerging consumer demands and survive constantly evolving technological advances.
In a world bursting with fast-changing consumer behavior, Jyhad believes it’s crucial to have a management style and technical knowledge beyond brand activity; agility, speed, personalization, customization, experimentation, sustainability, and brand purpose have become mandatory for every business to survive.
Jyhad maintains his competitive edge through emotional intelligence, humble management, an “artistic” eye for detail, and extensive technical knowledge, including cloud architecture, artificial intelligence, software engineering, and marketing technologies such as Google and Adobe stacks. He also appreciates the different cultures and speaks English, French, and Arabic.
Jyhad earned multiple certificates of completion in back-end and front-end development, blockchain and smart contracts security, API design principles, strategic thinking, GDPR compliance, and technology leadership; Moreover, he completed Data Science for Business and Advertising Analytics and Real-Time Technology at the Harvard School of Continuing Education with a grade of “A, earned by work of extraordinary distinction”.
